We did not come from the traditional knitting world. We did not have its machines, its textbooks, or its strict way of doing things. Our way was simply the only path we had, and over time it became our look.

We began with curiosity, hands, limited tools, and the wish to create something beautiful.
So we built our own methods.
We found our rhythm through trial and error.
We shaped our textures and silhouettes by experimenting, adjusting, and trying again.

What started as necessity slowly became our identity.

This is why our knitwear looks the way it does. A little different. A little freer. Shaped by intuition rather than old rules. Created through movement, not tradition. Guided by curiosity instead of convention.

AEM Berlin is knit in Berlin, in our own way.
And we like that way.
